December Releases to Pick Up this Holiday Season

By Savanna Lattanzi | December 3rd, 2023

It’s officially December, and we’re all about to scramble to find the perfect gift for friends and family. Check out 5 of this month’s new releases to plan the perfect shoe for every person in your life. What could be a better gift than the newest shoe drop?

Air Jordan 4 SE Craft “Olive”: December 2nd

A furthering of the Jordan brand’s recent experiments with canvas-based Jordan 4s, we can expect an “Olive” colorway to release. A part of the holiday line up, this subtle green look will, of course, feature a canvas construction with suede and leather playing second fiddle. Hints of black and gray will also offset the multi-toned olive green which is predominant throughout the design. The brighter features are a creamy midsole and clean white jumpman on the tongue. Black colors many of the structural elements of the shoe.

Release Date: December 2nd, 2023
Color: Medium Olive/Black/Sail/Pale Vanilla/Khaki
Style Code: FB9927-200

Nike SB Dunk Low “Pink Gingham”: December 2nd

In a continuation of Nike’s recent gingham motifs, the brand will drop a new dunk, “Pink Gingham”. This colorway will shade the silhouette with cotton candy tones and a whimsical gingham pattern. This design will be the crown jewel of the recent rosy picnic Nike releases, and will incorporate the checkered design in classy leather overlays. Though the patten is the dominant aspect of the colorway, pink and cream tones are present throughout. The design will even include on-theme pink laces.

Release Date: December 2nd, 2023
Color: Pearl Pink/Pink Oxford/Summit White
Style Code: FB9881-600

Air Jordan 11 “Defining Moments Pack” (DMP): December 9th

The Defining Moments Pack (DMP) colorway will be making a return this holiday season on the AJ11 silhouette. This updated version of the original is following the Jordan 6 DMP which was released in 2020. The DMP, containing both the Jordan 6 and 11 was originally intended to honor Michael Jordan’s championships. The colorway includes white leather upper construction, black patent leather mudguard, and flashy gold Jordan jumpman and branding. The midsole and outsole will both be white. In this release, the materials will be slightly updated to modern norms (ie. tumbled and high-cut leather). This differs from the shoe’s last release in 2006.

Release Date: December 9th, 2023
Color: Metallic Gold/Black/White
Style Code: CT8012-170

Nike Kobe 6 Protro “Reverse Grinch”: December 16th

Aptly named for the holiday season, this colorway utilizes the classic Grinch (and Christmas) colors to produce an electric shoe. The bright red overtakes most of the silhouette, covering the scaly upper construction down to the sole. The Grinch green proves the tone for the sneaker’s laces, heel, and tongue branding, while the Nike swoosh contrasts in black. The inner construction of the shoe also features green lettering. The colorway was first spotted on Anthony Davis of the Los Angeles Lakers and is a riff on the popular Grinch colorway which premiered in 2022.

Release date: December 16th, 2023
Color: Black/Bright Crimson/Electric Green
Style Code: FV4921-600

Nike Kobe 4 Protro “Black Mamba”: December 26th

If you’re shooting for Christmas, this new release might be a little tough to get your hands on, but if there’s a will, there’s a way! Black from toe to heel, with textured snakeskin accents, the new colorway is likely to be an instant success this holiday season. Gold features will bring an air of royalty to the shoe, fit for Kobe himself. A nod to the snake that gave Kobe the iconic nickname “Black Mamba”, the shoe will incorporate the scaly feature on the swoosh and overlays. Light suede and Zoom Air technology are key to the shoe, completed by Bryant’s signature in flashy gold.

Release date: December 26th, 2023
Color: Black/University Gold
Style Code: FQ3544-001
