Though we’ve seen J Balvin sporting his new Jordan collab on the street, the public release of the Air Jordan 3 x J Balvin “Medellín Sunset” won’t be until September. Most notably, the design is colorful. Gradients of bright colors are the defining features of the shoe, inspired by the sunset in the Colombian city of Medellín. Blues, yellows, oranges, and reds will mostly appear on the heel. Early pictures from team members also hint at white cement detailing and a white base which offsets the vibrant elements of the shoe. Yellow will also serve as a solid counterpart, coloring features such as the inner tongue and jumpman. This is the latest installment of J. Balvin’s work with the Jordan brand, first releasing iterations of the AJ1 and 2. The Colombian musician’s newest, the Jordan 3, is due in early September.

Another exciting addition to the shoe, the collaboration will also feature matching apparel. This line is rumored to highlight woven and leather outwear. Both shoes and apparel will incorporate the artist’s signature style.
