The Air Jordan 8 was released in 1993 and was at the time possibly the last Jordan to release. That was the year Michael had left to play baseball. The sneaker had a velcro strap on both sides of the upper for adjustable support. During this season Jordan earned the regular season scoring and steals titles and spots on the first teams of the All-NBA and All-Defensive teams.
